Calling all New Yorkers to the dance floor. This weekend at the American Museum of Natural History be the first to see Stephen Websters one-of-a-kind ‘Waltz of the Fighting Fish Brooch’ at the Beautiful Creatures exhibition.
Beautiful Creatures presents is a curation of animal-themed precious jewels created by the worlds most talented artists and craftsmen. Stephen Webster is extremely proud to have created a bespoke piece especially for the exhibition.
Discover the ‘Waltz of the Fighting Fish Brooch’, hand-crafted in lightweight Titanium. An unusual material for jewellery, Stephen Webster uses a technique called anodizing, to change the colour of Titanium from the natural silver to a deep blue hue. The brooch is then set with blue Sapphires (6.84 carats), black Spinel’s (6.28 carats), and white Diamonds (2.38 carats), with a central carved Santa Maria Aquamarine (7.16 carats). All these components combined, create a piece that is uniquely Stephen Webster.
Opening 12th July, the Beautiful Creatures Exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History, New York.
