A Career Spanning Four Decades
Since first established in 1989, Stephen continues to break the rules of fine jewellery with designs that are intelligent, thought-provoking and visionary.
Stephen’s keen eye for detail, commitment to ethical production and respect for traditional British craftsmanship have helped him achieve numerous accolades.

Future-Proofing British Craftsmanship
Passionate about future-proofing British craftsmanship and goldsmithing, Stephen actively nurtures emerging design talent both through in-house mentorship programmes and in partnership with the British Fashion Council, NEWGEN (first established in 2012 under Rock Vault), The Leopards, a collective group of jewellery professionals in association with The Prince’s Trust and New Designers, a leading London graduate showcase.

Stephen Webster, MBE
Stephen’s unique approach on nurturing British talent saw in 2013, HRH King Charles presenting Webster with an MBE in the New Year Honours list for his services to training and skills in the British Jewellery Industry.

Rebel With a Cause
Throughout a four decade-spanning career, Stephen has been an advocate of ethically sourced materials, travelling to mines in Tanzania and Peru to meet the mining communities and trace the origins of the precious materials he uses in his work.
He has been a supporter for Fairtrade Gold since 2011, becoming one of the first brands in the world to receive a license, and in 2016 was awarded the prestigious Butterfly Mark certification powered by Positive Luxury, recognising the brands long tradition of producing the finest possible jewellery with sustainability at the heart of every step.

Global Presence
In recent years, the brand has successfully expanded globally with 100 points of sale worldwide including the United Kingdom, United States, Dubai, Hong Kong and China, with Franchise stores located in Seoul and Kiev.
With a workshop and design studio based in Mayfair and salon on London’s esteemed Mount Street, Stephen Webster is widely considered to be one of the international scene’s most accomplished and innovative contemporary designers.

The Next Generation
In 2018, the next generation was introduced to the business, Amy Webster, Stephen’s daughter. Impressed by Amy’s digital campaigns for a Berlin-based advertising agency, he persuaded her to return home and join the company as Art Director.
In 2022, Stephen’s youngest daughter, Nika Webster, was so inspired by the brand's skill of craftsmanship and goldsmithing, she started a B-Tech course in jewellery making and is undergoing work experience alongside our master craftsman, Mike Oddy.
